450gms D.K. yarn
3.00mm, 3.50mm, 4.00mm & 4.50mm Crochet hooks

Measurements
To fit 34” bust –37”
Length 21”
Sleeve 12”
Tension 2 patts to 1 ½” with 3.50mm hook.
Main Body.
With 3.5mm hook make 209 [225] ch.
Foundation Row: 1tr in 5th ch from hook, (miss 2 ch, 1tr in next ch, 2ch, 1tr in next ch) to end, 3ch turn.
1st Patt row: 3tr in first 2 ch sp, (4tr in each 2 ch sp) to end, 5ch turn.
2nd Patt row: 1tr in centre of end group, (1tr, 2ch, 1tr) in centre of each 4 tr grp, 3ch turn.
The last 2 rows form the pattern.
Pattern for 13” ending with a second row.
Divide for armholes:
Next Row: Patt across 13 [14] grps, 5ch, turn, continue on these sts.
Right Front and Armhole Shaping:
Next Row: Patt omitting 3ch.
Next Row: slst over 1 grp, 3ch, and patt to within 1 grp from end. 5ch, turn.
Rep last 2 rows until 4 [4] decs have been worked at front edge and 3 [4] at armhole edge.
Continue on remaining 6 grps until armhole measures 7 ½”. Fasten off.
Left Front
Rejoin yarn to 13th [14th] grp from end and complete to match right front.
Back
Work across centre 25 [27] grps, dec 1 grp at each end of alternate rows 3 [4] times.
Continue on remaining sts until armhole measures 7 ½”. Fasten off.
Sleeves
With 3mm hook make 69 [73] ch.
Patt 4 inches as main part of jacket.
Change to 3.50mm hook work 4 inches.
Change to 4mm hook and work 2 inches.
Change to 4.5mm hook and continue until work measures 12 inches.
Shape top by dec 1 grp at each end of next and following 3 [4] alternate rows.
Fasten off.
Making up.
Join shoulder seams, set in sleeves, join seams.
Dc around all edges. Sew on buttons if needed, fasten through pattern holes.
